birdshit
on the 9th of march, 2008, carly had the very first experience of having a bird shit on her head. and this is a serious affair, by the way.
she was waiting to cross the raod so that she could get to the parkwayparade building. there was someone waiting for her there and she was impatient. unfortunately, as she was waiting, she suddenly felt something plop onto her head. she wiped it off dreadfully, only to find a liquidish yellow substance. disgusted, she looked up to see if someone had thrown it down. there was nothing but the sky above her. she concludes that it was a bird.
she went home and took a nice long bath. she tells her mom and her mom goes all "really! that's good luck you know! im going to go buy toto tomorrow!"
end of story.

the fan and me
sigh. sigh. sigh. im so stupid. wah.
today my brother broke the fan. no. he literally smashed it onto the ground. so we had to get a new one. trip to bishan and back. i was given the job of fixing the new one together. so i did, and there was an extra long metal piece, surprisingly. also surprisingly, the was a missing fixing knut too, which was the
supposed to be round (as printed on the booklet) to be the main thing holding the whole fan up. therefore, it would be useless to have the fan but not the knut.
i told my dad, who told my mom, who got really frustrated. so we went back to the shop and told them our problem. and here was the thing. there was nothing extra, nor nothing missing. the metal piece was actually the fixing knut. and it could easily be fixed on. the booklet was an older version. ha. i got owned by a fan. how sophisticated. so we lugged the fan back, but before that, did some shopping :D
that was the main thing that happened today. jap test tomorrow. good luck to all those taking the exam! ;D

SLI and CONCERT
sli today! fun. was a registration personnel for vips. only a few of them so didn't have much work to do. :) was also a server during refreshments time. food was nice : cream puffs, brownies, egg/cheese/tuna sandwiches, mee, nuggets, curry puffs and siew mais. the formal u was thick, but not as hot as i'd expected. i didn't sweat! so proud of myself, haha.
unfortunately i missed the items psb, pb and sln put up. ;( oh well, im sure they did well ;)
was supposed to bring curry puffs home today but i kind of forgot and left them in the canteen. oh well. too bad.
missed choir prac while trying to get rid of the leftover food (including stuffing the mee into my mouth and offering stuff to the green auntie [cant exactly call her green auntie right]). went to stef's house and bathed. played speed. fun ;D THEN ate doughnuts and fries at her house. put on makeup, put on formal u again, went to school, change into choir gown, touched up makeup, left on bus, arrived at republic poly, settled down in the dressing room and this was what i saw:
there's a nice little vanity mirror with lightbulbs around it for almost everyone! like in those broadway shows. so cool ;D

we all look a bit weeeeeeeeeeird. seem to be looking in the wrong direction. anyways my makeup was also weirdly applied so i conclude that i look weird in the photo, as i normally do. im not photogenic AT ALL. seriously, you should see my ez-link card photo.
concert was great, we didn't really go out of tune since everyone went off-pitch a bit together (oops, am i supposed to reveal that?). but anyways i smiled la kayleigh and fiona!

ta xue xun mei - could have brought more bounce to the song. smiled more? (my jaws still hurt)
salmo - a bit sharp. remember to keep it low. think of base and anchor.
mbiri - feel the atmosphere more. and don't rush.
well i should go to sleep now. psl session tomorrow. why am i so busy? sighs...

NEW BLOG ;D
hello! well, i felt that it was time for a change. can't live with cagalligal forever. hooboy. haha.
shall choose nice happy blogskins ;) used far too much black previously. im not emo!

-my previous blog still exists. can't bear to delete it. ;)
-i stopped blogging on cagalligal when the post number hit 100.
-i probably won't blog much, but am very excited about this blog.
-im not planning to make this known, people shall find out themselves.
-meaning, ill be talking mostly to myself.
